In June 2021, this MP rightly voted in favour of pro-life Bill C-233, introduced by Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall, to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex.

Also in June 2021, this MP voted against Justin Trudeau’s parental prosecution bill, C-6, which seeks to put parents in jail up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex.

Has not responded to CLC's election questionnaire and therefore, stance on life issues is unknown.

Rating based on the fact that official Liberal Party of Canada policy is pro-abortion and pro-LGBT ideology. It is notable that, in a previous electoral cycle, a news article reported that Hayward had a militant gay-activist working for his campaign, a 17 year old Mr. Wiens who fought against parental rights and religious freedom in Manitoba, by demanding that the government impose openly homosexual student clubs in all schools through its Bill 18.
