MP Tatiana Auguste
Liberal Party | Terrebonne, QC
CLC rating: Pro-abortion, pro-LGBT ideology
Rating Comments: Official Liberal Party of Canada policy is pro-abortion and pro-LGBT ideology. In fact, due to a candidate selection process initiated by Justin Trudeau on May 7, 2014 and continued by Mark Carney today, pro-life Canadians are forbidden from running as Liberal Party candidates.
In February 2026, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled that the results of the April 2025 federal election in the riding of Terrebonne were invalid. As a result, Terrebonne Liberal MP Tatiana Auguste was forced to vacate her seat in Parliament. Previously, through a judicial recount of the ballots cast in riding of Terrebonne during the April 2025 federal election, it had been determined that Ms. Auguste defeated the incumbent Bloc Quebecois MP by a single vote. Following the Supreme Court's ruling, a by-election was held on April 13, 2026, and this time Tatiana Auguste won by a margin of several hundred votes.

| Bill C-9, 4th reading, following Senate amendment, of a censorship bill that threatens Christians by potentially criminalizing Bible passages Disingenuously dubbed the "Combatting Hate Act" by the Carney Liberals, C-9 actually promises to make Christians a target of hateful attacks, reputational damage and legal persecution. It eliminates the long-standing exemption that protects Canadians from being prosecuted for "hate speech" if they quote controversial passages of sacred scripture in good faith, or make statements on the basis of sincerely held religious beliefs. Bill C-9 would criminalize passages of the Bible that pro-abortion and pro-LGBT Liberals and their ideological comrades find offensive, exposing Christians to lawfare and imprisonment. Bill C-9 recieved its final passage in the House of Commons, pursuant to a Senate amendment, on June 17, 2026 by a vote of 189 yeas to 128 nays. |
