Rating Comments: This individual was the PPC candidate in the 2019 federal election. Generally speaking, Mr. Joyce's abortion talk is excellent, persuasive and moving. He appears to be a great pro-life advocate except for one seriously problematic area. He holds an exception for rape, wherein he argues that it is morally licit to punish the child in the womb for the crimes of his or her father. Unfortunately, that stance of dehumanizing the unborn child is not a pro-life stance, and prevents CLC from being able to endorse him as fully pro-life. Joyce also promotes a chemical abortion pill, known as “the morning after pill” as an acceptable solution to an unplanned pregnancy.
