Mr. Wallar gave strong pro-life answers to most of CLC's 2019 federal election questionnaire, but on the issue of access to abortion, he believes that the circumstances of rape and incest can justify the deliberate killing of a child in the womb.

In an October 2019 CBC article, Mr. Wallar is reported to have said that he is neutral on the issue of abortion (see Quotes tab).

Official party policy is pro-abortion and anti-traditional marriage. In fact, Trudeau's new candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. The only way they would be allowed to run, is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up.
