Official NDP policy is pro-abortion. All NDP candidates must sign papers accepting the party position in favour of killing children in-utero and in favour of taxpayer funding of abortion.

Official policy is pro-abortion and pro-euthanasia. The Party Leader, Elizabeth May, has said she supports abortion on-demand and even claimed in a video interview that abortion "is not a morally wrong decision by any means". The previous leader, Jim Harris, stated: "The Green Party is in favour of gay marriage and a woman's right to choose (on abortion)".
