At an all-candidates debate held Oct 11, 2019, Hepworth expressed support for a ban on third-trimester abortions. This statement suggests also that he supports the killing of children in the womb during the first and second trimesters.

The fact that he has some discomfort with abortion is encouraging, but Hepworth needs to be educated on the humanity of the unborn child.

Official party policy is pro-abortion and anti-traditional marriage. In fact, Trudeau's new candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. The only way they would be allowed to run, is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up.
