Side-by-Side Candidate Comparison in the Riding of Regina - Lewvan

Rating Comments

In June 2021, this MP rightly voted in favour of pro-life Bill C-233, introduced by Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall, to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex.

Also in June 2021, this principled MP voted against Justin Trudeau’s parental prosecution bill, C-6, which seeks to put parents in jail up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex.

Did not respond to CLC's election questionnaire, therefore stance on life & family issues is unknown. As a former elected MLA in the Sask Party government of Brad Wall, Steinley also refused to answer our provincial election survey.

Official Liberal Party policy is pro-abortion & pro-LGBT ideology. Rating based on the fact that Trudeau's candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. They only way they would be allowed to run is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up.
