Rating Comments

In April 2021, New Brunswick provincial PC MLA Jake Stewart announced that he would be running in the anticipated 2021 federal election and would therefore resign his provincial MLA's seat as soon as the federal election date was announced. CLC deems Jake to be pro-life as a federal candidate based on his previous profile as an MLA, which noted his attendance at a March For Life event, suggesting his support for the pro-life cause. No response to CLC's election questionnaire (campaign email address not functioning).

Official policy is pro-abortion and anti-traditional marriage. In fact, Trudeau's new candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. The only way they would be allowed to run, is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up.
