Official Liberal Party of Canada policy is pro-abortion and pro-LGBT ideology. In fact, due to a candidate selection process initiated by Justin Trudeau on May 7, 2014 and continued by Mark Carney today, pro-life Canadians are forbidden from running as Liberal Party candidates.

Previously, Stephanie McLean was Minister of Service Alberta and Status of Women for the pro-abortion, pro-LGBT Alberta provincial NDP government of the time. More recently, in her biography on the Liberal Party of Canada website during her 2025 federal election campaign, she boasts of "making Alberta the first province to introduce non-binary identity documents" to cater to the delusions of people experiencing gender identity disorder.
