Uppal has a mixed voting record during his past as an MP. He generally voted in a pro-family manner and against euthanasia. However, he voted against Stephen Woodworth's pro-life Motion 312 which merely asked Parliament to study what modern medical science has to say about the humanity of children in the womb.
