Official party policy is pro-abortion and pro-LGBT ideology. In fact, Trudeau's new candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life or pro-traditional marriage Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. They only way they would be allowed to run, is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up.

Green Party policy is officially pro-abortion & pro-homosexualist. A press release by Party Leader Elizabeth May said she supports abortion on-demand. May also did a a video interview in which she said abortion "is not a morally wrong decision by any means". The previous Green leader, Jim Harris, stated: "The Green Party is in favour of gay marriage and a woman's right to choose (on abortion)".
