Side-by-Side Candidate Comparison in the Riding of Banff - Airdrie

Rating Comments

Derek has been an outspoken and courageous advocate for the sanctity of life, family values, free speech and religious freedom.

As a contestant in the 2020 Conservative Party of Canada Leadership race, Derek ran on explicitly pro-life and pro-family platform. He was fraudulently booted from the caucus by Erin O'Toole, based on trumped up charges.

Now, Derek is in the process of starting his own federal political party, which he says will also be explicitly pro-life.

Mr. Richards has voted in a pro-abortion and anti-family manner, opposing even a ban on sex-selective abortions and supporting Justin Trudeau's so-called "conversion therapy ban", Bill C-6, which aims to put parents in jail for up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in the sex in which they were born and refuse to encourage sex change transitioning. Adding to his disgrace, Richards voted to expel from the Conservative caucus the heroic, pro-life, pro-family MP, Derek Sloan, based on charges everybody knew were trumped up.

Official policy is pro-abortion & pro-LGBT ideology. In fact, Trudeau's candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. The only way they would be allowed to run is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up.
