Side-by-Side Candidate Comparison in the Riding of Willowdale

Has not responded to CLC’s election survey. However, on Aug 18, 2019 Mr. Lee responded to a constituent’s email asking about his views on abortion. He replied at the time via email, stating that: “Personally I am pro-life. However, my Leader (i.e. previous party leader Andrew Scheer) has said that because it is such a divisive issue we will not touch these issues as it has been decided already.”

In CLC’s opinion, this answer is a way to deflect from Mr. Lee's personal responsibility, as a prospective legislator, to stand up for the human rights of children who are being unjustly killed in their mother’s womb. What a party leader says about the status quo of no legal protection for preborn children should have no bearing on Mr. Lee's personal responsibility as a professed Christian, and as a would-be lawmaker, in regard to giving justice to these most vulnerable of human beings.

We hope that pro-lifers will be able to better educate Mr. Lee on the right to life issue, and help him commit to doing his part to end the evil of abortion in our land. Supporting the status quo of mass child killing is not a respectable position for any professing Christian.

Official party policy is pro-abortion and anti-traditional marriage. In fact, Trudeau's new candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. The only way they would be allowed to run, is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up. On March 11, 2021, this MP voted to dramatically expand the euthanasia killing regime in Canada under Bill C-7, even extending it to people suffering from mental illness alone.

In June 2021, the MP voted against pro-life Bill C-233, introduced by Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall, to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex.

Later that month, this MP disgracefully revealed himself to be an enemy of parental rights, and science, by voting to pass Bill C-6, legislation that will jail parents for up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex.
