Jonas Smith ran as the Conservative Party candidate in the riding of Yukon in the 2019 federal election.

However, during the 2021 federal election campaign, Jonas was unjustly removed by Erin O’Toole as the Conservative Party candidate for the Yukon riding due to Jonas’ principled opposition to vaccine passports and mandated workplace injections of the experimental, abortion-tainted, covid jabs.

As a result, Smith ran in the 2021 federal race as an Independent candidate in the same riding of Yukon.

Official Liberal Party policy is pro-abortion & pro-LGBT ideology. In fact, Trudeau's candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. The only way they would be allowed to run is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up.
