Side-by-Side Candidate Comparison in the Riding of Markham - Unionville

In June 2021, this MP rightly voted in favour of pro-life Bill C-233, introduced by Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall, to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex.

Also in June 2021, this principled MP voted against Justin Trudeau’s parental prosecution bill, C-6, which seeks to put parents in jail up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex.

Bob is solid on our issues. However, CLC was disappointed to see this stalwart pro-life MP endorse the pro-abortion, 2020 Conservative Leadership candidate Peter MacKay, especially when there were two strong pro-life candidates in the race, MP Derek Sloan and Dr. Leslyn Lewis, behind whom all pro-lifers needed to rally.

Official policy is pro-abortion and anti-traditional marriage. In fact, Trudeau's new candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. The only way they would be allowed to run, is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up.
