In June 2021, MP Jamie Schmale rightly voted in favour of pro-life Bill C-233, introduced by Conservative MP Cathay Wagantall, to outlaw the horrific practice of sex-selective abortion, in which unborn babies are killed for no other reason than their sex. Then, in the same month, he disgracefully revealed himself to be an enemy of parental rights, and science, by voting to pass Bill C-6, legislation that will jail parents for up to 5 years if they dare to affirm their gender-confused child in their biological sex.

Jamie's voting record has been mixed. Deeply disturbing is his support for the 2016 legalization of euthanasia, which, for the first time in Canadian history, allows doctors to kill their patients.

In December 2020, Schmale's in-principle support for euthanasia seemed to vacillate somewhat, as he voted both for and then against Bill C-7, which dramatically expands the euthanasia regime in Canada. His 4th Reading vote against C-7, which by then contained the worst excesses of the medical murder mandate - including killing those with psychological illness alone - is a sign of hope that Schmale may be realizing the error of his initial support for the euthanasia monster unleashed on Canadians in 2016 (see Votes tab).

CLC has deemed Davidson to be "educable" on life issues. She has not yet responded to CLC's 2021 federal election survey. However, in an email reply to a CLC supporter/constituent, she stated that she opposes abortion, while at the same time expressing sympathy for the choice of abortion when the child is conceived in rape.

On the question of euthanasia, Davidson told the CLC supporter she opposes all forms of euthanasia, although she did express sympathy for terminally ill persons who request to be killed via euthanasia. .

On the question of conscience rights, she said she supports the right of doctors & nurses to not be forced to violate their consciences.

Finally, on the question of the LGBT political agenda, she gave an ambiguous response that left one not knowing whether she is pro-family or pro-LGBT ideology.

During a September 2019 conversation with a pro-life constituent, Ms. Forbes made it clear that she supports a woman's "right" to kill her unwanted child through abortion.,

Official party policy is pro-abortion and anti-traditional marriage. In fact, Trudeau's new candidate selection process, instituted May 7, 2014, forbids any pro-life Canadians from running as Liberal Party candidates. The only way they would be allowed to run, is if they promise to vote in favour of abortion whenever such legislation comes up.
